Standing at the crossroads of change—will you cling to the past or step boldly into new possibilities?
Are You Holding Onto Outdated Beliefs?
One definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result.
Yet, how often do we catch ourselves using old, outdated belief systems, hoping they’ll magically start working?
Recently, I caught myself doing just that.
And then—I had a giant epiphany.
“Who Am I When I’m Not Getting My Way?”
I’ve always loved the teachings of Matt Kahn (www.truedivinenature.com), and a few months back, he shared something on YouTube that stopped me in my tracks:
Instead of asking, “Who am I?”—a better question might be: “Who am I when I’m not getting my way?”
That one hit hard.
I realized I had been creating unnecessary angst for myself by trying to force-fit something new into an old belief structure I had been clinging to for years.
And guess what?
💡 It wasn’t turning out the way I thought it should.
💡 I was having mini hissy fits about it.
💡 And I was totally disturbing my own peace!
Sound familiar?
New Wine Doesn’t Belong in Old Wineskins
As I stepped back and examined what was really happening, I saw the opportunity in front of me.
✨ I was being invited to expand my beliefs.
✨ I was being asked to grow organically, instead of forcing things to fit my old way of thinking.
✨ I just needed to be open to it.
Jesus taught us not to put new wine into old wineskins—and now, I get it.
This is exactly what he meant.
Let Go & Expand Into New Possibilities
I got the message loud and clear—and peace has been restored.
But here’s what I want to offer YOU:
💫 You don’t have to reinvent the wheel.
💫 You don’t have to struggle or force things into place.
💫 You just need to release the old ways of looking at life and make space for new possibilities.
And most importantly?
💖 Have FUN with it!
